September 11 Clean Up

Location: New York City

During 2001-2002 we worked our most difficult job ever alongside Evens Environmental. Our team manned Ground Zero disconnecting power to make sure the environment was safe for first responders. We also set up temporary power and lighting for rescue workers, as well as for shelters at the Staten Island landfill conveyor belt, where screeners examined rubble from the incident site. This hazardous location work was a job we were proud to be a part of.
